Magnets on the Way (to Me)!

My manufacturer in China has mailed the magnets. They should get here this week. Once they get here, I'll be doing a first article inspection to get the average size and standard deviation. Then I'll fiddle with the 3D models to get the best fit I can, then I start printing like crazy. If you have moved since you last filled out the BackerKit survey, or plan on moving in the next several weeks, please let me know.

New Add-On

For those of you who just want a few of each style marker, there is now a 'Marker Sampler' in BackerKit that includes 3 of each shape in a pre-defined color. You can always go back and change your options until I lock the Backerkit down.

I will be closing the Backerkit on November 9th. If you are totally ready before then, you can let me know and I'll lock your order down and start getting your pledge reward ready.

We will send an email with a special link to BackerKit surveys . It is important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can. Our ability to generate your order depends on receiving this information. Filling out your BackerKit survey is not required, but it is the easiest way for us to gather essential information about your order.

You do not need to make a login and password to fill out your survey, just fill it out and you’re all good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your rewards preferences, provide shipping information, pay for international shipping if you forgot, and, if you want, you can order more items or “add-ons.” You do not have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

If you decide later that you want to edit your survey survey response, you can go back and change it anytime before I lock down the orders for processing.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you will be able to recover your survey at counter-magnets.backerkit.com.

It's Full of Colors!

I've got the printer and I've been trying to find colors I am happy with. As a result, there are a few "extra" colors available. When you fill out the survey (which should be coming in a few days, expect another update about that) you will have a blank space to add colors other than the standard Black, White, Grey, etc. Just pick one of the colors below!

Grayscale:

 Clear, Natural, Glow, White, Light Grey, Silver, Grey, Dark Grey, Black

Browns:

 White (for comparison), Beige, Khaki, Clay, Brown

Colors:

 I'll split this one in two.

 What next?

I'll be printing various tools in advance, and once the surveys are in, I can get going on the magnet-less accessories. The magnets look like they'll be done mid-November. I'm having them shipped by air, so printing Counter Magnets and shipping will follow soon after that.

For Backers

Money appeared in my account yesterday. I spent today ordering the various things I need including the longest lead-time item - the magnets.

I have also finished setting up Backerkit. All backers should expect an email from them in the near future. You will be able to add more sets or accessories if you decide you want more. You can also upgrade your pledge. Please let me know if you find any problems or things that are unclear. If the fill-in-the-color boxes are too hard to parse, just write in all the sizes and colors you want in the comments box and I'll figure it all out.
